| The basic qualifier quickly answers
the questions of whether the drive is cabled properly, terminated and
working correctly.
Note 1: The drive will not show up if there are connection or termination problems. Note 2: Disk drives default to write protect on. Tapes default to write protect off. Before you can test a disk drive you need to unprotect the drive (Options, Protect Keys, Select controller and id and uncheck: check means the drive is write protected) |
