In order to run Disk Test Facility  you need to take the protect keys off of the disk drive. 

Disk drives default to protect keys on.

Options, Protect Keys, take check off of drive to be formatted (a check means the drive is data protected).

In order to format multiple disk drives simultaneously, set the multiple command keys to on. Options, multiple command, On.
